I think what you composed was very logical. But, consider this, suppose you added a little content? I mean, I don't wish to tell you how to run your blog, but suppose you added something that grabbed a person's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is kinda vanilla. You should glance at Yahoo's front page and see how they create post headlines to grab people interested. You might add a video or a pic or two to grab people excited about what you've written. Just my opinion, it would make your blog a little bit more interesting.
